Question: My Chase Sapphire Reserve Application was Denied/Rejected
Answer: To get approve for Chase Saphire Reserve, you need to have excellent credit score. Generally, the minimum credit score needed for Chase Sapphire Reserve is at least 720 FICO Score. There are many people with excellent credit scores who get denied for Chase Sapphire Reserve. The most common reason is too many credit cards opened within the last 24 months.
Chase implemented the Chase 5/24 to stop credit card churners applying just for the credit card signup bonus. If you have 5 or more new bank cards or credit cards within the last 24 months, Chase will automatically reject your Sapphire Reserve application and denied your request. Even if you call the Chase reconsideration line, the chances of getting approved is very slim. Even canceling your existing Chase credit cards will not help your chances.
